What '08 has been like: “This whole year has been a hell of a year for me. I have been working so hard on my album, but…I didn’t know exactly where I stood with everyone.”

On mom Lynne: “We butt heads the most, but we understand each other the most, too.”

Brit's New Year's resolution: “I would like to stop worrying so much, because I worry all the time. And to learn how to be happier, just in general.”

What we may not know: “I don’t like going out. I hate clubs. I hate being around too many people. I love my home and staying in bed and watching Dancing With the Stars or reading a Danielle Steel novel.”

Five years from now: “In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable. It’s hard doing it on your own. ”

Britney is Hot Again After Pregnant

Britney Spears is looking better than ever, and I mean EVER! Not even when she was the teen pop princess did she look so edible. With her long blonde mane going almost all the way to her butt, and wearing a very slutty leotard type outfit, Britney is on the cover of the Rolling Stones magazine issue that will hit the newsstands next week, as living proof that being a mom can improve some physiques.

But despite looking so hot, she says that she’s not feeling very young anymore: “I feel like an old person now,” Britney said in her interview for RS. “I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don’t go out or anything, you know what I mean? I just feel like an old fart.”

Britney Spears' youngest son out of the hospital

Britney Spears' youngest son has been released from the hospital after being treated for some kind of reaction.

According to an update on Spears' Web site, 2-year-old Jayden James has left the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center and is doing fine.

A representative for the Spears' family says Jayden was admitted Sunday after having "a reaction to something he ingested."

The hospital is near Spears' home in Kentwood, Louisiana, where the singer was reportedly staying with family. Representatives for Spears and her family didn't immediately return messages left Tuesday.

Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline are also parents to 3-year-old Sean Preston.

Britney Spears looks fit and healthy as she relaxes on a beach – and shows she is putting her troubles behind her.

The singer appeared rounded and happy in a bikini as she took a much-needed break after a turbulent time when drink and drugs binges led to her being sectioned.

Britney, 26, is on holiday with her father Jamie, staying with Braveheart actor Mel Gibson and his wife Robyn at his £13million ranch in Costa Rica.

Mel and Britney became friends while neighbours in Malibu, California, and it is thought he wants her to join his therapy group to help her battle her problems with drink and drugs.

Britney had been through a period of increasingly erratic behaviour due to her bitter custody battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline over her sons, Sean Preston, two, and 20-month-old Jayden James.

She famously shaved off her hair, then in January held the boys hostage in a stand-off with authorities at her Los Angeles home.

A psychiatrist is thought to have treated her for bipolar disorder.

But last week, a judge granted her the right to spend three days a week with her sons under supervision.

But, sadly, Britney's troubles are not over.

There are reports a sex tape of her and British photographer Adnan Ghalib, 35, is about to be released.

Britney Joins Madonna

At Dodger Stadium last night in L.A., Britney Spears was reunited with Madonna (and Justin Timberlake, yes, the two did cross paths!) for her Sticky and Sweet tour. Greeting her with a kiss on the hand and a "Hi Britney," Madonna was joined onstage by Spears during her song "Human Nature." Spears looked great in black and white as she sang the last chorus of the song. And as for the reunion with Timblerlake, the two said a simple "hi" to each other.
